Organization Description:
Disability Rights Texas (DRTx) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to protect and advance the legal, human, and civil rights of people with disabilities living in Texas. DRTx was established in 1977 by the United States Congress as Texas’ federally designated legal protection and advocacy agency (P&A). We protect and advocate for the legal and human rights of people with disabilities, a majority of whom are poor.
