Pro Bono Texas is creating a pro bono mentor-matching portal, but to do that we need mentors.
If you have experience working on pro bono cases or you have experience in a practice area that could be helpful to an attorney on a pro bono case, we need you! You can sign up to be a pro bono mentor by completing a short questionnaire.
Do you know others who would make good pro bono mentors? We need them, too! Even if you don’t think you’d be a good fit for mentoring, we would be so grateful if you would share this oppotunity with your friends and colleagues and ask them to sign up to mentor a pro bono attorney. We need mentors from all over the state and in every practice area, so please encourage your friends and colleagues to SIGN UP!
You get to choose your mentoring role, the tasks you are willing to help with, and when you are available to communicate. You can customize your role in this process to ensure it is comfortable for you.
As a bonus, by mentoring an attorney on a pro bono case, you can earn up to 5 hours of CLE credit, including 1 hour of ethics. Click here for more information.
